Wednesday we take 2 runners to Pinjarra scarp side track which has a long straight that gives every horse a fair chance.
The first of our runners is Unsaid Dreams. She was a little flat 2nd up we have given her 3 weeks between runs and freshened her up and will appreciate the sting out of the track. We have given Cassey Martinan a 4 kg claiming apprentice just starting out the opportunity as Cassey is always helping us out at trackwork and is a very good rider . Especially on young horses. Jumping from barrier 8 which is the best side to draw down the straight 1000m . It looks an even race on paper and if she can reproduce her fantastic first up run and with the light weight she will prove hard to beat.Go Bubbles!
The second of our runners is Songs and Lyrics, whilst on paper his last couple of runs have looked below par his last run was better than it looked having been trapped extremely wide for the entire race we thought his run was not bad. Top Jockey Brad Rawiller takes the ride and we are hoping from barrier 5 he can get a good smoother midfield or worse and get to the outside in the straight to give him plenty of space and finish off down the long 500m scarp side straight. Go Bear!
