Eeyore Ways produced a career best performance to a dominant Saturday win at Belmont Park.
Coming from a wide barrier Donkey (his stable name) settled back near last 4 wide for his regular rider Clint Johnson-Porter who got him to the outside in the straight and let him go with an explosive sprint to win easily under hands and heals riding. Making the win even better was his final 600m was insane! Running 33.90 secs. Putting that in perspective is the horse with big wraps Clairvoyance ran 35.05 secs and the Belmont Newmarket the winner ran 35.40 secs.
What makes it even more exciting is there is still plenty of improvement in him!
Can’t wait for his next run. Well Done Donkey and Misty!
