Saturday we head to Ascot with the ever consistent Magic Whistle. He has had a fantastic preparation and tries his heart out. Last start he looked the winner as he shot clear round the turn only to be run down late for a gallant 2nd. Tomorrow he gets out to 2200m , Regular rider Luke Campbell retains the ride and he jumps from barrier 6 there doesn’t seem to be much speed in the race so he should be able to control the race from the front and expect him to take a power of beating .
