The newcomer The Grand Elusion will make his debut at Belmont Park on Saturday in a 1200m Maiden. He came to the stable with a bit of a rouge reputation and with all the credit having to go to Misty with her persistent work to educate him he is slowly coming around. He has had 2 trials for the stable winning his last Trial comfortably and has trained on well. Unfortunately Misty had committed herself to the Carnarvon Cup meeting weeks ago so it is a shame she will not get to ride him at his first start for all the work she has put in on him. So we have got the next best jockey 🙂 William Pike let’s hope he can continue his red hot form and get Charlie to salute the judge. Go Charlie!
